How do you farm Eureka weapons? ›

In Eureka Anemos, you'll need to take down monsters and NMs to farm Protean Crystals for your weapon. As you level up, you can also take down the previously mentioned Notorious Monsters, which will drop Anemos Crystals.

Players will start Eureka Orthos at level 81 regardless of their current class or job level. By defeating monsters that appear in the dungeon, players will be able to gain EXP and level their characters up to 100. Your Eureka Orthos level is not directly related to your level outside of the dungeon.

The first iteration, the Anemos weapon, can be acquired in Eureka Anemos by using Protean Crystals to empower the Antiquated weapon obtained for reaching level 70. Protean Crystals can be obtained by completing FATEs in Eureka Anemos, or rarely as regular enemy drops.

Relic Weapons are obtained through the "A Relic Reborn" quest which is accessible to the player upon completion of the main story quest. The beginning quest is The Weaponsmith of Legend, although on completion, obtaining additional Relic Weapons does not require this quest to be completed again.

Assuming you want to solo your way through the entire Eureka maps getting all the crystals you need for the relic weapon and/or gear, it will take you a very long time, especially once you reach Hydatos.

General Guidelines for Leveling in Eureka

If alone, focus enemies 1-2 levels higher. If in a group, try to go as high as you can, remembering that experience gain maximizes at +6 levels. Keep the kill chain up. Don't be partied up with friends who are too high of a level for you.

Hydatos marks the conclusion of the Eureka expedition. With its discovery, the elemental level cap has been raised to 60. Increase your elemental level to unlock more of the story and the ability to further augment your arms and armor. To enter Eureka Hydatos, you must first complete the Eureka Pyros story.

Note that it has been quite a while since I did Eureka and much has changed, but I don't think that has. You don't have to do the relic, but I highly advise finishing the anemos steps and the starting step of pagus first for the weapon.

Antiquated weapons (ilvl 290) are acquired by completing the Stormblood job quest line for your given job, up through the level 70 quest. They serve as the starting tier relic weapons for Stormblood, and are upgraded in the Eureka zones.

This is an optional additional i405 step to give the weapon special Eurekan properties. Requires 100 Eurekan Fragments. Eurekan Fragments are from Baldesion Arsenal. Three (3) drop in a chest after the first encounter and six (6) after the second boss, though, so that's as far as you'd need to go to farm for these.

Are relic weapons hard to get in FFXIV? ›

In order to make a relic weapon, you need to be at least level 50 in the job you want the weapon for, and you need to have beaten the A Realm Reborn main scenario quest “The Ultimate Weapon.” You also need to have the class and job quests for your selected job completed up to level 50.

There are a few requirements you should complete to open Epic Weapon Quest. One of those requirements is hitting level 60, so if you're not quite there yet, you can use our leveling service. The second one is to have a 20 Weapon Mastery in the weapon of your choice.

Acquisition of the Magicites

The first Magicite will be the reward for completion of the very first quest, that led you to Eureka Anemos in the first place. Upon reaching elemental levels 3, 5, 13 and 17 you will unlock new quests from Krile, which reward you with the next pieces of Magicite, up to the final fifth one.

Eurekan Fragments are from Baldesion Arsenal. Three (3) drop in a chest after the first encounter and six (6) after the second boss, though, so that's as far as you'd need to go to farm for these. (Note that you have to check the chest yourself to get this.)

The last notorious monster of the instance is Louhi, which will drop Louhi's Ice for upgrading the Weapons to the Elemental Weapon. In order to do the upgrade you need 5 Ice in total, which can either be dropped by the Fate or bought for 50 Pagos Crystals.

Eureka Weapons are the level 70 Relic Weapons for Stormblood. To start the Eureka Weapon quest chain, players must have cleared their job's Level 70 job quest, since the Eureka Weapons are upgraded from the weapon rewarded by the job quest.
