How Much Extra Dmg Does Crit Do Maplestory (2024)

When you proc a critical hit, the said hit does extra damage ranging from minimum of 20% to maximum of 50% on top of your conventional damage, so anywhere from 120% to 150% of your conventional damage will be dealt when an attack is critically hit and there exists no additional source of Critical Damage. I already made the calculations for getting to the top legion rank, and it is obvious you are not filling every square, the best way to do it is getting all of the classes available to lvl 200, and three levels link skills to 210. To fill the most important squares that are, Ignore Defense, Boss Damage and Crit Damage. How long did Maplestory 2 take to develop and how long can we expect Maplestory 3? Just went to Bera's 30 channels. DAILY/WEEKLY TRACKER TOOL (UNDER DEVELOPMENT) For hoyoung distributing skill points 2nd thru 4th job? How Much Extra Dmg Does Crit Do Maplestory Quest

First of all, thank you for clicking on my guide, it really means a lot, so lets just get right into this guide to the Explorer warrior branch known as Dark Knight!
Explorer Warriors are one of the 5 job branches you can choose as an explorer, the other 4 being Magician, Thief, Bowman and Pirate. Warriors are the beefier melee class of the Explorer job branch, with each different type of warrior bringing their own unique skills and play style to the game.
When you first get your choice of job branches when you hit lvl 30, you are faced with 3 options, Fighter (which later becomes Hero), Page (which later becomes Paladin) and finally, Spearman (which later becomes Dark Knight) the reason you came to this guide.
Dark Knight is what Id like to call the in between of Hero and Paladin. Where Paladin has extreme tankiness and immunity, and Heros have a more glass cannon style where they do large amounts of damage per second, Dark Knight falls just in between that, with a larger health pool, a health restoring summon and some extra built in survivability, along side a high damage, fast attacking skill that's great for singular bosses, Dark Knight is the perfect middle ground between the End-all Tank that is Paladin, and the Massive-Damage Hero class.

Now, lets get into theProsandCons of Dark Knight

Pros:
Larger amount of AoE skills for training in 4th job and beyond
A strong bossing skill in Gungir's Descent
100% Stance passive
Free stats from Evil Eye summon
Health restoring abilities
Final Pact!

Cons:
Highly inflated range
Low Mobility

No monster debuffs or helpful party buffs
A slower start than Heros and Paladin have pre 4th job
Needs to chain Evil Eye skills for maximum uptime while bossing
Requires Attack speed and Buff Duration for maximum optimization

Pathfinder is an Archer that is part of the Explorer class. She uses an Ancient Bow and is an extremely easy and fun class to play.

Pathfinder has insane mobility, great mobbing, and has abilities to resist 1 hit KO moves. Pathfinder's kit has everything you need to do almost anything, you only need to know how.

Before You Make A Pathfinder

I have been playing a Pathfinder for a bit and have gotten it to a decent level at 236. The class is easy to use, fun to play and my new main that I will be investing in. If you're looking to make Pathfinder your main you should know these Pros and Cons.

The Pros of a Pathfinder are amazing mobbing, high mobility and a versatile moveset.

The Cons of a Pathfinder are mainly the fact that to reach the top you are going to have to invest a lot of resources and even if you do, Pathfinder is a little low on the DPM charts.

Pathfinder Keyboard Layout

This is my keyboard layout:

The skills you'll be using all the time are, Cardinal Deluge and Burst (Macro), Triple Impact, Cardinal Torrent, Combo Assault, Glyph of Impalement, Raven Tempest, and Swarm Shot.

When training Swarm Shot is useful for hitting multiple platforms and combining Glyph and Combo Assault clears mobs very quickly.

When Bossing you want to combine Triple Impact and Glyph for good damage. Also, use Raven Tempest and Ancient Astra together to keep your gauge at maximum.

Pathfinder Hyper Stats Guide

The best Hyper Stats for Pathfinder Bossing are, in order, Damage, IED, Boss Damage, Critical Damage, Dex. Critical Rate isn't that important since you should have a high Critical Rate already with Sharp Eyes and some Links/Legion. If you don't have 100% Critical Rate you might want to consider Critical Rate.

If you aren't looking to boss that much early on and you want to grind levels consider Damage, IED, Bonus EXP/Arcane Force, Critical Damage, Dex. This is because one-shotting mobs is super important so you need the damage and penetration to get the job done. Arcane Force isn't really necessary but if you want to accelerate your Arcane Force training you can get this and then reset your Hyper Stat Points.

Pathfinder Shared Cash Shop

When it comes to the Cash Shop, the characters that are of the same Race can share NX Items and Cash Shop Items with each other.

Pathfinder is part of the Explorer Race and has a shared Cash Shop with –

  • Paladin
  • Dark Knight
  • Hero
  • Ice/Lightning Mage
  • Fire/Poison Mage
  • Bishop
  • Marksman
  • Bowmaster
  • Night Lord
  • Shadower
  • Dual Blade
  • Cannoneer
  • Buccaneer
  • Corsair
  • Jett

Pathfinder Leveling Guide

Training a Pathfinder is incredibly easy because of your skills being able to spread out and hit targets far away from you. The main skills you'll be using to train are

As for where to train, there are a ton of guides online and since they are always changing you should find what works for you. The ideal maps for Pathfinders are ones that are small and condensed where you can hit the whole map without much movement. For example, maps like Goblin House, Cavern Lower Path (CLP), and Corridor 203 are great maps to be at.

A general training guide I like to follow is this link.

Pathfinder Best Weapon, Secondary and Emblem Optimization

To be strong you want your Primary Weapon, Secondary Weapon, and Emblem to be as close to perfect as possible.

1 line Boss Damage %

1 line Ignore Enemy Defense %

7 lines of Attack %

If you are in Reboot you aren't going to need as much boss lines since Attack rates are inflated. If you aren't in Reboot you will replace a line of Attack % with a Boss Damage % line.

Ideally, you want a spare Secondary or Primary Weapon with Boss Damage and the other with all Attack %, because Boss Damage does nothing for you while you're training.

It is incredibly hard to get perfect lines so please don't throw all your Mesos into one item trying to get it to perfect stats. Work on getting all your gear to a starting point before making big changes.

The best way to maintain the most stats while cubing is to get all your gear to have 1 Attack line. Then get one piece to 2 lines of Attack. After that, get another gear to 2 lines of Attack. Repeat this process till your gear is perfect!

The Boss Soul you should have is a Magnificent Soul with Attack %. This is a tier list for the Best Magnificent Soul.

Pathfinder Perfect Nodes and V Matrix Guide

When it comes to Boost Nodes you are going to need 6 slots. This is a class that uses a lot of moves so you are going to need to be around level 250 to fully fit all the skills you'll need.

The most important trio of Boost Nodes that you should prioritize leveling up is, Torrent/Burst/Deluge. If you have 3 different perfect sets and you aren't at max level, it is worth using all 3 as your damage will skyrocket.

The next 6 skills that are used can be mixed and matched however you like. They are, Swarm Shot, Combo Assault, Ancient Astra, Triple Impact, Shadow Raven, Glyph of Impalement.

The other skills you want in your V Matrix are Raven Tempest, Nova Blast, Vicious Shot, and Holy Symbol/Obsidian Barrier.

Pathfinder Legion Effect

Pathfinder's Legion effect is a flat Dex increase.

Rank SSS: Level 250

Rank SS: Level 200-249

Rank S: Level 140-199

Rank A: Level 100-139

Rank B: Level 60-99

Pathfinder Link Skill

Since Pathfinder's are Explorers they are part of Adventurer's Curiosity.

Having 3 Bowman (Bowmaster, Crossbow Master, Pathfinder) at level 120+ will give you a max level of 6.
